WHAT IS REIKI HEALING?

In the 1800’s, Dr. Mikao Usui rediscovered Reiki in the Sanskrit scriptures of Tibetan Buddhism, an ancient hands-on healing tradition. In subsequent meditation, he was graced with the ability to channel Reiki energy.

Reiki (ray-key) is an ancient Tibetan hands-on healing technique that balances body, mind and spirit. It brings health, joy and deep relaxation, which allows our being to do its work without having to work around the stress we carry day to day.  Reiki is a hands-on healing modality that works on three levels – mental-emotional, physical and spiritual.

ABOUT JUANITA

Juanita is an Intuitive Reiki Master/Teacher, Vibrational Sound Therapist, Crystal Healer and Artist (Usui Reiki Master/Teacher), who believes that we are all born healers.  Juanita says that the way in which we live, both culturally and societally, has taken us away from these innate gifts.

She began her Reiki studies in 2002 at the Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment Center (ARE) in New York, and completed her Reiki Master/Teacher training in 2004.  Juanita has studied many other healing modalities, such as EFT (Emotional Freedom and Techniques) and Healing Touch, to name a couple.  In 2014, Juanita completed her BA degree in Health, Arts & Science at Goddard College in Vermont, where she had the opportunity to refine her energetic work.

Juanita’s dynamic, straightforward approach as a practitioner is to receive and interpret information about the client that leads to healing through chakra alignment that uses gemstones, for a more balanced life. She is committed to fostering a positive, loving attitude in her work because it is what brings Juanita joy.

OUR MISSION

We believe in changing the world one person at a time, through trainings, treatments and consultations with a social justice lens. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for everyone we are in contact with.

It is our mission to train individuals in under-served and forgotten communities to provide these populations with options for healthcare that are not within their financial means.  We ask that they pay-it-forward by providing treatment and training to others in their communities. We look forward to continuing to change the world one training or treatment at a time.
